The week started out as an extra special week this week for us students at RHS. This week was homecoming week with Monday starting out with the nomination ceremony of the royalty this year for homecoming King and Queen. Are King candidates were Leo Lakpa, Andrew Hausmann, Ben Rossini, Andrew Nelson, and Billy Hoffmann. The homecoming Queen nominations were Sarah Scinto, Emily Anderson, Lauren Trandahl, Q Johnson, and Shade Pratt. The Homecoming King and Queen were crowned today at the homecoming coronation/pep-fest. The King was Leo Lakpa, and the Queen was Sarah Scinto. Congratulation to these two for being named homecoming king and queen this year.

The other thing that happened this week was not the most joyful event but it happened. The event I am talking about is the bomb threat that was made at the local DQ on Wednesday September 29th. The accused’s name who I will not name for privacy reasons and for other reasons. This man walked into the DQ demanding money. To get the money he used bomb threats. After the police caught the man he claimed that he and his fiancé had been carjacked, but his fiancé told a completely different story. What was this man thinking trying to rob a local store using bomb threats what a smart guy. Then he waits at a corner for the police he doesn’t keep running from them he just waits for them.

That is all for this week. Once again I am going to end on a happier not by saying that the Irish football team is playing there homecoming game tonight against Lakevill south. If the Irish win this game they will be 5-0. GO IRISH
